Farewell speech is normally a combination of joy, fulfillment and sad feeling of separation. Common scenarios of farewell
speech include - Retirement, Graduation farewell, Job shifting etc.,
Farewell speech generally includes the memories of your stay/union, what you have learnt from the union, what would you miss
by separation & how you intend to be in touch even after separation. It also consists of the name of peoples who have touched
you the most, the actions which have brought you the maximum joy and the people from whom you have learned a lot during the
stay.
A normal farewell speech tends to be around 30 min. Please note that the farewell speech should not be stretched more neither
it should be short. The speech should be good enought to help recollect all the listeners about the stay which you together
had and the special memories. A good farewell speech is the one which gives a good flashback of the stay.
One need to prepare in advance for the farewell speech. If the speech is a for a particular individual, you need to recollect
the basic details ofthe individual and if it is for yourself, you need to recollect the different memories, occassions,
persons & instances and put it on the paper.
Farewell speech are more often story telling sessions and should not be serious of thought provoking.
You should try to
incorporate few quotes regaridng the individuals attributes in the speech.
